Thomas C. Spangler, M.D.

Dr. Thomas Clayton Spangler attended Davidson College in North Carolina for undergraduate studies, graduating Magna Cum Laude with high honors in Mathematics. From there he went on to medical school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his orthopaedic surgical residency was completed at Duke University Medical Center in Durham.

Dr. Spangler is married and his wife, Laura, is a Presbyterian pastor. They have four children and live in town. In his free time Dr. Spangler is an avid swimmer, and also enjoys pottery and glasswork as hobbies.

He is currently medically licensed in North Carolina and is Board Certified in good standing under the American Board of Orthpeadic Surgery. He is on staff at Forsyth Medical Center and Medical Park Hospital. Dr. Spangler specializes in a wide variety of orthopaedic surgery including joint replacement, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and ankle. He also sees patients with leg and back pain.
